Hello I'm Kate and i live in Nottingham with my two furbabies lily and patrick. Lily is 3 years old and is a very good girly. Patrick on the other hand is a naughty boy and has adopted the if I can get it on my mouth I'm eatin it approach to life. Patrick is coming up to 6 months old now and we are just starting out on our show career. I've never shown before so will be after all the help and advice I can get.

I'm trying to get some pictures on but keep failing will have to wait till I'm on a proper computer instead of my phone. No how's booked as of yet but it's getting close to time. Patrick is 6 months in 2 weeks time so it's all go from there. I'm worried already and not got on booked in yet. I guess it's all trial and error.

You can get a yearbook from Andrea Gates www.btyearbook.com that will list all of the bull terrier shows and how to get schedules etc

Do you go to a ringcraft? If not the Kennel Club (0844 463 3980) can help you find a local cub and they can help with training and local open shows that will be near you.

It is not as frightening as you may think, if you go to a couple of local ones with people that you know from your ringcraft they can guide you on your first couple of shows, then you can venture further afield, but it will all fit into place once you have been to your first show, the judge will tell you what he wants you to do and at all other times just copy everyone else!!

I have added info for Notts and Derby show in August under the up and coming shows, go with Jo that would be great always confidence in numbers!!!!! Will make it much less daunting. Dont worry if your bullie doesnt behave, at 4 1/2 years young Bodger spent the whole time in the ring barking at the show last weekend He has shown sinc he was 6 months old
